This project involved auditing and improving the lead flow for a thrift-fashion brand selling curated second-hand clothing through Instagram.

2. The Challenge
Although the brand generated customer interest through Instagram posts, there was no structured funnel guiding leads to WhatsApp.
Key problems included:
- Customers manually dialing WhatsApp numbers
- No way to track where inquiries originated
- Disorganized conversations
- No structured path from content to purchase
As a result, the business was unable to measure inquiries, understand where leads were coming from, or manage customer conversations efficiently.
3. Funnel Flow Analysis
Current Funnel (Before)
Instagram Post → DM / Manual WhatsApp → Conversation → Purchase
This process relied heavily on manual customer actions and unstructured conversations.
Improved Funnel (After)
Instagram Post → Trackable Link in Bio → WhatsApp Business → Leads Labeled + Quick Replies → Purchase
The improved structure created a clear and trackable customer journey from Instagram to WhatsApp.
Note: Implementation of WhatsApp labels, highlights, and quick replies was guided to the client for execution.
4. Key Issues Identified
The audit revealed several funnel gaps:
- No trackable link in bio
- Customers manually dial WhatsApp
- Conversations scattered
- No funnel structure or highlights
These gaps made it difficult for the business to track inquiries or manage conversations efficiently.
5. Improvements Provided / Guidance
To improve the funnel structure and lead management, the following changes were implemented:
- Created Linktree Click-to-Chat link for Instagram bio
- Delivered a funnel blueprint showing each step from Instagram → WhatsApp → Purchase
- Recommended WhatsApp Business setup: labels, auto-replies, quick replies
- Suggested Instagram highlights to guide customers
- Provided actionable tracking and lead management instructions
All implementation steps were provided to the client; they executed the funnel based on these recommendations.
